Meadow House Residence

This weekend house designed for a Sea Ranch meadow site is organized to create a sheltered outdoor deck space and two master bedroom spaces, while capturing the blue water and deep meadow views. Oriented toward the south for maximum solar gain, the main space features an open plan with loft above to be used as a studio and guest space. It is designed in the Sea Ranch tradition under the strict rules of the Association, with natural cedar siding, no overhangs, and simple shed roof forms. Windows and sliding doors bring light and ventilation to all spaces. The separate garage creates a sheltered entry courtyard to be used for gardening and pet area, with hot-tub and small decks.
